Meet Tyler & Ashley – Founders of Rocky Mountain Canine 🐾
Hi there! We’re Tyler and Ashley, proud dog parents, adventure seekers, and the heart behind Rocky Mountain Canine.
Our journey began with fostering rescue dogs, and like many dog lovers know—sometimes you just can’t say goodbye. Three foster fails later, we had our very own little pack (whom you will love just as much as we do!) and a deep understanding of just how life-changing the bond between human and dog can be. Prior to our pack, we were foster parents to those in need via Meant2Be Loved and Leslie Long Pet Rescue, we were happy to play a part in helping other dogs find their furever homes.
Over the past year, we’ve had the joy of caring for and learning from all types of dogs—each with their own personality, quirks, and needs. That experience, along with hands-on training from Chris Urban at K9 Basecamp in Cranbrook, helped us grow our knowledge and confidence in canine care, behavior, and training. We’re endlessly grateful for the guidance and mentorship that helped shape who we are as dog owners and professionals.
We are proud to be Canine CPR certified and fully committed to safety, compassion, and tail-wagging fun. At Rocky Mountain Canine, we’ve created an environment where every dog can feel secure, relaxed, and—most importantly—have an amazing time. Whether they’re here for a weekend stay or a day of adventure, our camp is designed with love, care, and a whole lot of dog hair.
Our mission is simple: to provide a safe, joyful space where dogs can be dogs, and their humans can rest easy knowing they’re in good hands.

Interested in seeing where your dog will stay, play, and adventure? Book a personalized Meet & Greet with us!
📍 Full Kennel and Run Tour – Get a firsthand look at our spacious indoor kennels and secure outdoor runs, designed for comfort and safety.
🌲 Property Tour – Explore our beautiful property. Choose from a guided hike on one of our scenic trails with your pup, or, if you prefer a more relaxed option, hop in our side-by-side for a ride to the top, where you'll enjoy breathtaking views.
🐕 Bring Your Dog(s) – We’d love to meet your furry family members and give them a chance to explore and interact with us.
🕔 Personalized Time – Our Meet & Greets usually last about 45 minutes because we want to take the time to answer all your questions, get to know your dog, and make sure everyone feels comfortable.
🗓 By Appointment Only – So we don’t disrupt the dogs, we host meet & greets 7 days a week from 11am-1pm PST or 4pm-6-pm PST during their feeding schedules only.
